Beautiful day, isn't it? Or evening, actually, made even better by the fact that I'm currently downloading a season worth of Jensen Ackles, and the prospect of spending the entire week-end watching it all and spamming you madly with my thoughts (which, hee, will be a little out of date, but who doesn't love a good ol' "Oh My God! Angel is a vampire?! / Vader is Luke's father?! / Scully is pregnant?!" type of post?)

In other "have been living under a rock" news: OMG LANCE BASS IS TEH GAY!!! *flails* Gosh, next thing you know, Britney will turn out to be non-virgin or something. Shocking, I know. But seriously: yay for you, Lance. Not so much yay that you apparently felt forced to do it, but yay that people are supportive and all of that. Also, thank you for balancing out the dark side of the popslash fandom caused by Kevin *sniffle* leaving the BOYS! by way of your coming out.

And now, a rec: I found this gem after posting my non-entry* last night when I started madly browsing random people's journals to keep me awake: This is How it Works, an SGA Vid by Lim. I'm not a fan of vids, to be perfectly honest, but IMO this isn't simply a vid -- it's art, pure and simple, and you need to watch it. It's based on a fic (Freedom's Just Another Word For Nothing Left to Lose by synecdochic), but it doesn't matter if you haven't read it, doesn't matter if you're not into SGA or even not into vids: just trust me and watch it. * For those wondering about the non-entry, it doesn't, as its name indicates, exist, and neither does the month-old previous one. But comments, though unanswered due to lack of existence, were read and loved and warmed my heart, and will of course be remembered fondly.
